Important Changes Below- Teams will be allowed to use their own personal computers (1 per contestant, 3 per team).
- Each contestant will log into the contest server separately.
- Contestants can use any development environment they are comfortable with and are not required to install the contest image but can if they so choose. While we will try to answer questions about the contest environment, please be aware that we did not create the image below and may not be able to address issues you may have (specifically, but not limited to graphics and network issues) – caveat emptor.
- Only use of standard libraries will be allowed.

- During the competition, teams may communicate about the contest only with their team members and contest officials. Teams may not communicate about the contest with coaches, contestants on other teams, family members, etc.
- It is up to the team members to decide how best it is to communicate, ie Skype, Zoom, email, etc.
- It is up to the team members to decide how best to share their files, ie Drive, Dropbox, etc.
- Teams are permitted to use electronic and/or physical (e.g. book) resources available to them during the competition. This includes online resources available to the general public.
- Teams may not use fee-, institution specific-, or restricted subscription-based resources, such as restricted access journals, upgraded websites requiring payments, etc.
- All teams (and every team member) that advance to the divisional must be prepared to meet with the judging team within 10 days of the contest for an on-line meeting with video(skype or zoom) should the judges have any questions about your submissions. Failure to comply will disqualify your entire team from advancing to the divisional championship.
- The competition will be run under the honor system, according to academic standards of conduct.
- Photographs will be available when compositing is complete. A link will appear here at that time.

- 10:00 AM – Practice contest
- 10:30 AM – Opening Ceremony – Zoom Webinar (Link will be sent as a clarification once you connect to the contest server)
- 11:00 AM – Contest start
- 4:00 PM – Contest end
- 4:15 PM – Closing Ceremony – Zoom Webinar
- Team Names
- Each team name must consist of the institution name (greater than 1 character but less than or equal to 8 characters) followed by a hyphen (-) followed by a team name (greater than 0 characters but less than or equal to 24 characters). Please note that spaces are counted as characters.
- Format:INSTITUTION-TEAMNAME
INSTITUTION = University name or abbreviation. 1 < length(INSTITUTION ) <= 8.
TEAMNAME = Your team name. 1 <= length(TEAMNAME) <= 24.Each individual institution must use the same name for the INSTITUTION field.Eg. If Binghamton University sends multiple teams each team must fill in the INSTITUTION field with the same name.BU-TEAMNAME1

- Coaches: Once your contestants have accounts on the ICPC website, create your teams here
- T-Shirts – Please make sure to fill out the correct sizes for yourself and your team. Shirts must be ordered weeks in advance. Shirts can be purchased through the ICPC website if desired.
- Eligibility
- Most first semester graduate students are allowed to participate. A team may be comprised of all first semester graduate students that meet eligibility requirements. If you have any questions about this please email the contest Director.

- Cost:
- There is no fee to participate this year.
- PRACTICE CONTEST
- Each team will be required to participate in the ongoing practice contest.
- A link to the contest image will be emailed when available.
